Has anyone else gotten a message about needing to verify your Stripe account? If you don’t send a verification document to Patreon within a certain time, you cannot continue to receive your funds via Stripe. Unfortunately, I have uploaded the required document (drivers license) about 20 times and the system won’t verify.
Twelve days ago, Patreon support staffer even told me he believed the bug was Patreon’s. Yet… if my Stripe account is not verified, I cannot receive my funds on the first of next month. Anyone go through this? Any advice?
MESSAGE:
Hey There,
Thanks so much for being an awesome member of our creator community.
Because of the amount of volume you have processed on Patreon, it is Stripe’s responsibility to verify identity and confirm legitimacy of your business to their financial partners.
In order to continue receiving direct deposit on Patreon you will need to upload a scan or photograph of a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport). You can do this right from your payment settings page.
Once you upload your verification documents it may take 3-5 business days for Stripe to verify your identity. We will send you an email confirmation as soon as you’re verified and you’ll be all set.
If you have any questions please reach out to us here.
Thank you!

It seems as if your account is still not verified. It’s looking like this is a bug on our end though so I have since filed this with our engineers in hope that they can figure out a resolution to this ASAP!
Best,
Evan
