We just had a patron sign up for a high level. We know that he was a patron before, but we don’t know how long ago he dropped out and stopped being a patron. Where can we find when a patron deleted their pledge to us? We’re trying to piece together the timeline here, partly out of curiosity and partly because we’re trying to decide whether to give him again one of the special rewards for that level. We’re thinking that we don’t want to encourage people to sign up, get a reward, drop out, and then sign back up again and get the reward again, but since we don’t get emails of when patrons delete their pledges, we don’t know how to keep track of that.

Hey @FutilityCloset! I think the best way to look into that would be to view the patron’s last three charges in the creator’s Patron Relationship Manager. It won’t tell you exactly when they cancelled, but it will tell you the last time this Patron were charged, which could help you determine whether or not they were already eligible for that specific benefit. Thanks, I didn’t realize that info was available. For this patron, his last 3 charges are all on the same date, and all say Refund. Can patrons request refunds without our being notified? That makes fulfilling rewards even more tricky! Still trying to make sense of this person’s history . . .

What if your patron has erased her name and is no longer findable in the Patron Relationship Manager? This is the case with someone who just left my list (although with a loving e-mail). All traces of her two-year participation are gone, as far as I can find.

We NEED to know when patrons delete their pledge. Especially if it’s the same month. I want to see in my notifications that someone pledged and then deleted their pledge, not just have their pledge notification removed. Nothing says fun like finding a mystery $50 in my patreon funds and try to figure out where it came from. As an 18+ creator I have a LOT of “bounce” pledges. They pledge, then immediately delete it. Several of my regular patrons do that to get around Patreon’s 1st of the month billing. They pledge mid-month every month. It would be nice to be able track that.
I would LOVE to see a patron’s history with me when I click on their name. What tier they joined, when they joined, when they deleted their pledge.
How do we not have this kind of data available?

Right, and we need to know if a patron requests a refund, which apparently we’re not being notified about in any way right now?? That doesn’t seem to show up in notifications or anything that I could see.

I fill spreadsheets with the info of my patrons, rewards and dates. It’s been helpful in cases like this one and also to keep track of the what kind of content is working better.
Nevertheless, I support very much getting these notifications you are mentioning
