Hi – I’m looking forward to learning better practices and ideas from my fellow Patreon artists. I’m a GRAMMY nominated musician/songwriter, award-winning playwright, and have done lots of videos as well. Here are my links/pages:
My Patreon page is very young, so there are lots of things I’m still trying to refine, many of them centered around how best to deliver content to my present and future supporters in as clean and user-friendly a way as possible. If anyone has or knows of pages that deliver music, video, and podcast content in an exceptional way, please feel free to share them with me so I can learn from best practices of others.
I’m Jack Lowe, a photographer and sound recordist.
After three years, I’m nearly halfway through an epic journey that I first conceived back in 2012. It’s called The Lifeboat Station Project and is one of the largest photographic projects ever attempted. In short, it involves me travelling to all 238 RNLI lifeboat stations in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
But there’s a twist! I travel in my mobile darkroom — a decommissioned NHS emergency ambulance affectionately named Neena . I work as the Victorians used to, you see, making my photographs on 12x10 inch glass with a 1905 mahogany plate camera and process the photographs in Neena as I make them.
Making this historical archive has become a truly magical experience for all involved.
My Patreon page describes it all in a bit more detail, as does my website, but this photograph sums it all up pretty well too:
Anyway, I was so pleased when a friend introduced me to Patreon back in November. I REALLY needed to find a new way of strengthening the financial foundations of The Lifeboat Station Project and Patreon certainly seems to be the answer I was looking for!
This in itself has been a really exciting landmark on the journey and I can’t wait to see how it all develops (forgive the pun) through 2018.
Looking forward to hearing all your advice/stories and helping out where I can too.
My name is Ray, and I’m with a music duo called Veserium. We create music using just motions and gestures in thin air, with technology that we developed ourselves. Check out our latest video here:
Glad to be a part of this community! We’re now up to nearly $500 / mo after being on for a month :).
We are interested in collaborating with other musicians, artists, videomakers, songwriters, producers, you name it, so feel free to drop a line to me at ray@veserium.com if you have ideas!
Hi everyone. I’m a NSFW 2D artist/game dev and I don’t know what I’m hoping to get out of this community (not yet, at least).
Hope this covers introductions, thanks for inviting me! ^^
I am Peter Kondas. I am making erotic and sexy arts of girls! Patreon is a great place to share these cool pictures. https://www.patreon.com/kondaspeter/
My name is Rose! I create affordable art (enamel pins, clothing, lanyards) and do this so I have the freedom to write in my spare time-- I’m working on a fantasy novel! Nice to meet you all! I’m 29, single, and living in Seattle with my two cats, Sherlock and Watson. I also enjoy crossfit, anime, conventions and cosplay.
I am MrPhoenyxx, but most people just call me MrP. I have been on Patreon a few months now, but just recently joined this community. I feel like I have a lot of questions.
I create language lessons (primarily French but also some Spanish and English). Most everything is free, other than the word of the day I started doing last year. The WP plugin has really helped grow my Patron support and I’d love to come up with more that I can do for Patrons without sacrificing great public content.
