Hi everyone, I’m Sarah and thank you so much for inviting me to join this community of creators, this is ace and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone.
About me, well I make a weekly documentary series about my plans to become the first person to row solo around the coast of Britain. Right now I’m learning to row and building a boat, and I’ll be rowing around the coast between May and September 2017, followed by the post expedition screening/augmented reality show in December 2017. I’m doing the row to create videos that schools worldwide can watch as they learn about the Vikings and geography, and in watching the videos, funds get raised through views, which are used to provide kids living on rubbish dumps with access to a kind of virtual, pocket school. The expedition is called The Great British Viking Quest (#GBVQ).
