Searching for creators, it’s absolutely useless as it is now.
A system where someone can look back through all old posts in a thumbnail format, not the current way which is to scroll down endlessly.
A search function for a creators post could be useful both for me and my patrons since I post quite a lot of material.
I want my micro-transactions back.
Ironically, I’d like a tool to allow my supporters to occasionally “tip” me a little extra one-time now and then, if I happen to be having a particularly rough patch or need a little extra cabbage on top of my monthly support.
The monthly support truly rocks, and is sustaining me, but sometimes entropy prevails, and all your equipment breaks down, or you need to do a print run and just can’t front the money. So if those who were able to could occasionally do a one time additional donation here instead of leaving the platform to go to say PayPal etc. that would rock. Thanks!
In general, improved notifications.
In specific, I want a notification when a non-patron comments.
When I do get a notification, I’m never sure what it’s for. The other day I had three notifications but the only thing at the top was stuff I’d already received notifications on and viewed. Maybe if the notifications were highlighted in some way?
Agreed. Also please please please chronological order and not grouped all weird!
Scheduled tweets - that go out a) when a post goes live, and b) when a post goes public.
customizable pages! like if i have a couple of comics, i’d love to be able to link to them and make it easy to read from the beginning, instead of using a tag that just scrolls up and down.
letting supporters use the search function thru the entirety of patreon and include nsfw creators, maybe thru a checkbox verifying “over 18” or something.
and reiterating what others’ have said above: a search function for individual pages, to make it easier to find a certain post.
image preview function that i don’t have to create myself. for example if i’m posting something nsfw or maybe something with potentially upsetting content. a function that lets me choose a cropped/closeup version of an image. then include a warning for the content and the patron can choose whether or not to view thru a link. currently, i have to edit my own previews and host the image on an outside website and link in the description.
Facebook Pixel integration
Easier integration of live video feeds. While the live feed method works, it’s so cumbersome to go through youtube (which then leads you to google hangout)… I wish I could just go live like facebook or instagram live.
