I just wanted to make a quick announcement in case this workshop planned for later today interests anyone. I’ll be leading a workshop in just a few hours about making changes to your membership for growth. Here’s the description and the link to sign up. If you can’t make it live, a replay is available at the same link:
Change can be scary, we know. However, if you’ve hit a plateau in your earnings, or you’re feeling like your Patreon membership just isn’t working as well as you’d like it to, it might be time to make a change or two. We’ve found that a few simple tweaks to benefits and messaging can lead to huge impacts on your earnings growth if you take the time to plan and strategize. Join Laura from Patreon’s Creator Success team as she walks you through the ins & outs of making a revamp really count.
Revamping feels overwhelming in my case, as by deleting current tiers and creating new ones ( in order to be able to modify prices ), implies having to edit every single post so far ( hundreds of them ) , since all of them are set to "WHO CAN SEE THIS POST? Select Tier".
I guess there is no way to avoid this process, but do you have any suggestions?
Hi @rubenfcid, I’m so so glad you reached out to ask - there is an easier way to avoid this! Instead of deleting a tier, you can un-publish it. Potential patrons can’t see unpublished Tiers, they’ll only see your published Tiers on your page. Unpublishing a Tier ensures that no new patrons can join, but gives existing patrons in that Tier a chance to edit their memberships accordingly.
But even unpublishing a tier most of patrons remain in it, which won’t allow to edit the price. Therefore, it has to be deleted to create a new one and add this new one to the created posts so far.
