Speaking Out For Artists: Turning The Tide To Keep Art Alive

Hello Everyone,

I hope this is relevant, interesting and a useful source of inspiration to Creators, not least in this arena.

I’m sharing a blog post with you that I’ve just shared with my Patrons ahead of a more public release tomorrow. I thought you might enjoy that little bit of early access too.

The post has been a few months in the making as I’ve had to be sure of pitching the tone correctly — I’ve been recovering from a severe period of burn-out lately, so haven’t been able to entirely trust my own wording at times!

And this is a topic that has to be pitched correctly otherwise I’d risk alienating my audience when my intention is to gently educate my followers and, above all, speak out for artists.

I hope you like it…I’m really trying to put myself out there these days and share more of the realities of choosing to work in the arts:

You may like to read this in conjunction with a blog post that Patreon have also kindly published about my work. You can read that here:

In short, I feel it’s our duty to educate our audiences. Anyway, everything’s explained in the blog post — I’d love to know what you think, so please feel free to let me know.

[Jack braces himself]

Best wishes to you all,

— Jack

I’m coming in late to the party, but that was a fantastic letter to your audience!!! Thank you for the inspiration and validation of artists everywhere.
