Anyone with a podcast (or similar) offering an archive of content available only to monthly patrons? We’ve got hundreds of past episodes that aren’t readily available. Is there a Patreon based solution (beyond uploading every single past episode) to accomplish this?
If not, any solutions outside the Patreon universe you’d recommend?
We’ve used gumroad for some stuff in the past, but having to send codes to folks is tedious. And would like to encourage folks to stay subscribed for the full archive access.
Hi there! I wanted to check in and say that I’ve been trying to find some options for you and have not forgotten. Let me report back when I’ve found something
This is such a great idea. I’m hosting my podcast on Squarespace, which cuts off the RSS feed at 100 episodes, and I’ve had a few people ask me if there’s an easy way to download older content (there isn’t). I’d love to figure out a way to bundle back-catalog eps together into something that patrons could download with one click.
Along those lines, one of my rewards is an MP3 of an audiobook, so whenever someone joins at that tier I just send them a message that has a link to a Dropbox folder. That might be a good way to handle older podcast episodes, too. It’s a little tedious to message each individual backer, but the Benefits manager makes it fairly easy to see who’s owed what.
