Pay Upfront on new Creator Page

I am pretty sure we had a topic about this before, but I can’t find it for some reason. I just started my secondary Patreon and thought I set it to charge upfront. One of my patrons pledged, but it never charged her and I just got the notification that patrons would be charged for February on March 1st. In Payment Settings it says “Charge my patrons at the start of each month”, which I guess it’s doing but for the previous month. I thought pay upfront was standard to all new creator pages. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? (My primary Patreon is charge upfront, it’s just the secondary one that seems to be charging at the end.)

Hey Lochy,

Charge upfront is actually still in beta and is not widely released just yet. There are some what I would call “undesirable” side-effects, so we’re looking at some other ways to approach this. That being said, let me see what we can do for your second page, since you’ve already got it on the other,

Hey Lochy,

You should be all set! You’ll want to edit your page, then edit the payment settings (upper-left-hand box) and verify it to enable.

I have loved havin’ it on my primary Patreon so far and absolutely needed it for my secondary one as it is hugely paywalled. Much appreciated! :hearts:

I haven’t experienced any undesirable side-effects yet. fingers crossed
