Is there a way to set up my Patreon Site to charge Members as soon as they sign up? and then monthly thereafter?

I don’t mind if it is then held on Patreon until the 1st of the month and then released to my account as a single monthly payment.

I have a drip-feed gated content mechanism with my rewards and my new members are unable to access rewards until they are charged (Rightfully so) … but if they sign up before the beginning of the month, they have to wait until they can access their rewards.

It would be more beneficial to my members to be charged straight away and then have access to drip-feed content.
I use the CODE BOARD WordPress plugin to drip feed content. Which look for the logged in members total support and then allows them access to the appropriate contact. The problem is as a new Supporter, you have not been charged yet and therefore shown as a $0 contribution.
So if the content is locked behind $1 you will not gain access. Even if you are supporting at a $15 tier. You will not gain access until you have been charged by Patreon.

It’s called “Charge Up Front” and it is a permanent change. You cannot revert to any other system of billing after you make the switch.
