I know a lot of people want to really make the most out of everything their creators share in Patreon, but there are also many people who mostly want to support our work, and have a once-in-a-while update about what’s been going on.
Right now, as far as I know, you can customize what type of content you want to be notified about, or you can opt out from all notifications completely. But, for example, if I check the option to get notified every time a creator publishes paid content, and that creator publishes very often, it can become quite annoying, adding up to the (already overwhelming) noise of our digital lives.
It would be great for patrons to have the option to choose not only the type of content, but how often to receive email notifications… as it happens, for example, with this Community, where I only receive a weekly (I think?) notification with a summary of what’s been happening.
