I’ve had a handful of financial goals set up for a little while on my Patreon page but I was hoping to add two community goals as well.
It seems we can only have one or the other…not both. Am I right?

As far as i am aware, you are correct. It would be nice to have the option of adding goals for both. If i reached 100 patrons i’d WANT to have that as a goal and then be able to do something nice for them. While i can still do that manually having a goal present shows people “hey look at this cool thing that we could get!” And maybe motivation to spread my patreon around? (considering currently my patreon page is hidden from searches and i have no control over that.)

You are correct! You can only use one type of goal or the other, and we have no plans to add additional functionality to goals right now.

Hmmm…shall have to rethink my strategy on that front as I’ve got a couple of pretty cool Community Goals in the making. If I decide to experiment by switching, will my Financial Goals be deleted or will they stay in place if I decide to switch back?
