Every October, artists all over the world take on the Inktober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month. Anyone can do Inktober, just pick up a pen and start drawing!
Whether you post them here in this thread or link to places you will be posting your inktober drawings, all is welcome! Let us all share our Inktober journey together! No matter how you are doing it, your skill level, digital or traditional, for the challenge or for fun, all 31 days or only 1, come join us!
I am totally partaking. My $8+ patrons get first dibs on the prompt commissions this year over at https://www.patreon.com/posts/21317265 - If spots still remain by Oct 10th, they will get opened up to everyone but don’t rely on that if you are interested!
Also, if anyone is looking for alternative prompts, stay tuned to Anthro Art Prompt, who will be putting out another animal prompt list this year. Lots of them are endangered species to raise awareness!
Thanks for mentioning Anthro Art Prompt. I am passing that info along to the 130+ artists in The Art of Compassion Project. Endangered species are right up our alley!
Inktober is HERE! it’s a great way to spark a little extra creativity into the dark autumnal weather, plus every day you create art it’s alongside thousands of others
Who’s taking part? It would be great to have a group of us do it, even if you’re not normally an artist (like myself!) I just saw @sarahjbmasonpost in my feed!
I wish I could draw and do something for this… I could do something similar with short stories but I don’t think I’d have time with all my commissions and things.
That’s fair! Everyone does Inktober a little differently. I’m only doing the half marathon, so i’m only doing 15 or 16, instead of the full 31 because i have much to do outside of it. Even if you only do one, it’d be cool to see what you do
