Creator page feedback

Lochy! You have pretty much answered all these feedback requests with my exact thoughts haha. You are great!

What a pretty game! :open_mouth: I totally want to walk around in that world.

I think your Patreon page looks great! The banner image looks so good. But the logo to the left on the banner looks a little pixelated (eh is that a word?), like it’s being stretched a little too big?

I am going to copy Lochy and suggest that you add a smaller first milestone/goal. It could just be something random/fun/not too serious, to have something that is closer to cheer for and make your patrons eeexcited.

I like the awesomely cute red panda in your reward boxes. The text in the reward boxes should probably be a bit larger, it is kind of hard to read for me.

Do you have a website? Maybe you should link to that also in the description for people who want to see more.
Hope that was of some help!

Hi everyone!!
I’d LOVE to have some feedback on my Patreon page. Are my explanations/presentation too long or too obscure? or not detailed enough? I haven’t made a Patreon video yet though I use one of my Patreon vlogs as my ā€˜presentation’ video… is that bothersome do you think? Should I really spend some time focusing on creating a presentation video or is it alright if I don’t?
Any feedback would be much appreciated!!

Hey Marie-Noelle,

First off, I love the intro sentence of your page! What a lovely and succinct way of explaining Patreon. I also really love the names of your reward tiers and think you have a great number of them. My one concern here would be that most of your rewards require shipping items out to patrons, which may take up a lot of your time.

Regarding an intro video, I do think it does make a difference! Getting an opportunity to state what your page is about, what patrons get for joining and what Patreon is, all in one short video will help convert visitors into patrons a lot quicker than a block of text will (as well as let you get creative and show your personality!) I would say go for it and let me know if you need any guidance!

Hai I’m Mai! I do livestreams on Twitch of myself learning how to digitally paint, and I started from day one! I use Patreon as a way to fund mentors or purchase reference sheets to further my learning.

I’ve been so danged wishy washy as of late. I feel like my rewards are weak, and I don’t post very often so I can avoid spamming my patrons - instead, they have special rooms in my Discord where they can view my offline progress and offer their own insight. I also made a room for my highest tier where I can post their weekly sketches as I do them.

Anyways, a spot of feedback would be amazing. My patrons are very close, loyal viewers and/or moderators for my channel and mostly support me out of love, but I really, really want to give back for all the time and love and support they’ve given me over the months.

I am a photographer and well known detox/anti-aging blogger. I started my patreon page a couple months ago, and looking for feedback

Well, here goes: https://www.patreon.com/rewboss

My Patreon page was unexpectedly successful in its first 24 hours or so, getting about 100 patrons pledging $300 in total; that, I think, is down to the fact that I had successfully built a very appreciative core fan base on YouTube, which is also older than YouTube’s average demographic so more likely to have a few spare bucks a month lying around. I’m not surprised it’s stalled since then, but then I honestly didn’t think I would get so far in such a short time. Nevertheless, it would be nice to attract some more.

I would love feedback if possible, thank you! https://www.patreon.com/majnouna

I’ve been meaning to revise the page because currently it’s as I first put it up, and I have learned a lot since; also, I recently shifted my whole artist identity away from putting such an emphasis on calligraphy, and using a language of abstract art instead.
I’ve been also having second thoughts about my reward tiers. My current patrons don’t seem to care what I offer, they just want to support me, and I would like if possible to come up with something that would attract new patrons. But it’s very hard for me to gauge what is attractive to the world out there, I am nearly always wrong in my guesses! Thank you for any comments you may have

Hey @rewboss, I really love your page! The intro video is fun and upbeat, the rewards are simple and fun (love the reward images!) Only suggestion I can think of is maybe include a section in the description that mentions the benefit of becoming your patron (maybe just after the section that explains how a patron’s pledge benefits you). Also, I’d be a little wary of the $25 physical reward, as shipping can cost a lot if patrons aren’t in Germany.

Keep up the good work!

Hey @joumana! I absolutely love what you are creating! It’s so unique and your description is really well done (the images help with separating text a lot). The reward section, however, is a bit busy. You have quite a few rewards and a ton of text on each of them. Potential patrons visiting your page may get a bit of decision fatigue just trying to choose a reward. I would recommend simplifying the text and maybe including some images to help break up the text like you’ve done in your description.

I also love the amount of public to patron-only posts you have. It gives potential patrons a good idea of what to expect, while also enticing them with locked posts.

So excited to have you in the community!

Thanks for taking the time to look @ellie ! You’re spot on about the rewards, I need to reach out to my patrons and discuss their rehauling, and then do that. Good to hear the rest is ok!

I’m kinda new to using Patreon and I just got my first two patrons a couple days ago, and I was wondering how I could improve my page; would love to see some critiques and advices.

This is a great thead ~ love feedback!

I would suggest adding an easy to attain goal so that you can hype it up to your social media followers. Maybe something in the $20 range so you can let them know you’re already almost halfway there.

I also think you should remove the tumblr link in your intro as you want people to come to your Patreon page and linger there. Otherwise it looks like people have to sign up to Patreon and give you money to see art there or just click a link out to tumblr where they can follow your art for free.

Best of luck!

I think I’ll follow your advice; I mostly put that link there when I opened the page so that people might see my previous artworks since there was nothing on the Patreon page yet.

Thank you!

Maybe you could make some thumbnail collage of previous work and put in that section so potential patrons can get a glimpse of what you offer.

Oddly, not as much as you might suppose. And the gift itself is a fun ā€œrewboss exclusiveā€, but not expensive.

Thanks for your comments. I’ll set about drafting an extra section for my description as soon as I can…

I would love some help with my page. I have almost no clue what I’m really doing. https://www.patreon.com/mai
