I always feel invigorated by summer - the long days, blue skies, and going to the beach. However, in SF, summer is called Fogust 
I’d love to hear what’s inspiring you lately.
The long hours of daylight this time of year are the best thing ever. I’m spending a lot of time wandering outdoors and nature is providing plenty of inspiration in the form of art supplies this time of year. I’m experimenting with different types of berries and barks to make inks, grinding rocks to extract their pigment, trying out various types of twigs to make pens, and stockpiling feathers I find, not sure what for yet but they are so beautiful in their own righht.
