How do you find out about new features when we add them to Patreon?

If I can only pick one, it would be e-mail, which I voted for.
I’d be fine with tool tips on the Web site if they could be dismissed permanently, instead of showing up every time you visit a certain place for all of eternity. (e.g. I’ve learned by now that I can set early access to a post. I swear!)
I think announcing new features on this forum would be great too. I don’t follow your Twitter, Facebook, or Hang Time, and only the blog insofar as you e-mail me about entries on it. I don’t have close friends who are on Patreon, so my interaction with other creators is here.

I also voted on email for both, but would have added “this forum” as a second option so that we can have a chance to discuss. I’m not saying we have to be consulted on all decisions, but testing user reaction here before emailing a universal announcement is always a good idea, just in case.
I should note that while I voted “friend/fellow creator” I’m voting that way because I guess none of my fellow creators even know this board exists.
I personally get information from here and emails the most often, but I run a discord server with at least 30 other creators on it and they are always clueless when changes are coming. The latest adult content suspension wave that went out no one at all had any idea why people were getting suspended or that it was coming until I saw it on here and let them know.
Does Patreon know that most campaign creators (even several $4k+ creators that I personally know) have no idea this forum even exists or how to get access to it? Are they supposed to be this exclusive?
Are Patreons mailing lists messed up because I have other friends who have never gotten a hang-time email or any feature announcements, it seems like a ton of people don’t get any news at all from Patreon and it’s not going to their spam folders.

I marked “other” because I usually notice the new features by myself while using patreon.
Most new features are only announced days after they’ve been implemented.
Hear, hear. There are times when we have been quite surprised, and not at all in a good way, to suddenly discover that something is different on our Patreon page and there’s nothing we can do about it. We have quite disliked some of the changes that have been made, and at other times quite caught off guard.
I put that I would like to hear about things in email, but it would be nice if we got a head’s up here as well. I tend to find things on my own and when I tell my friends they typically already know (so I can’t rely on friends to deliver that information).
