Hi all
As many of you are already aware, thanks to your feedback we’re continually making improvements and adding new functionality to Patron Relationship Manager - simplifying the way you manage and connect with your audience on Patreon. Now, all of your essential patron information is in one place, it’s easier to get a snapshot of key info like shipping addresses, and you can customize your view to fit your needs.
Let’s take a look at the most recent updates and dig into what’s coming soon:
AVAILABLE NOW
Customization: You can now customize your Patron Relationship Manager view, putting the control back in your hands and giving you access to essential patron info at a glance. Shipping Address and Notes are also now available to include in your custom view. Click the gear icon to display the full list of columns available to you, and add or remove any of the fields you do or don’t need.
Status: To help clear up confusion over which patrons are eligible for benefits, the new “Status” filter combines two previous filters (Membership type and Charge Status) into one main filter. You also now have the ability to select multiple statuses at the same time. Note that “Active” refers to all patrons who have successfully paid or are scheduled to be billed. “Former” refers to all patrons who have deleted their pledge and are not scheduled for another payment.
Don’t forget - the search bar in Patron Relationship Manager allows you to easily search across all your patrons by name, email and even Discord handle.
COMING SOON
Shortcuts: Very soon we’ll be introducing shortcuts that save you time by giving you the option to quickly view patrons who are “New this month”, “Active this month” and “Declined this month.” These shortcuts allow you to instantly see who you should send a quick welcome note to, who should receive benefits, or who’s pledges need attention - all with one click.
Filter by Join Date: We’re adding the ability to filter by Join Date. This will allow you to pull a list of patrons who have been pledging for a specified length of time or signed up during a specific time period. You can also sort by ascending or descending to easily see which patrons have recently joined or patrons who have been supporting you the longest.
Saved filters: You’ll also be able to save filter combinations that you use frequently, so you don’t have to adjust the filters on the page every time you want to deliver benefits or pull a list of patrons who fit a certain set of criteria.
Layout updates: You’ll notice that filters are moving into a sleek new side panel. This opens up space to add new, helpful filters in the future without eating into the real estate on the page that you need to see patron info. You’ll also notice the Search bar, Messaging, and Mark Complete actions will be shifting up to the top right of your screen, and your “All months & posts” filter will sit neatly above your shortcuts. By separating the month/post selector from your other filters and featuring it as the main selection on this page, you’ll be able to use Shortcuts and Saved Filters in the context of a specific month or post. For example, you could select a month: (September) and apply a custom saved filter (“People to remove from newsletter/former $5 tier patrons”) to streamline your work.
We hope to make these updates available to you in the coming weeks. Click here if you’re interested in getting early access to these new features, and would like to help us develop Patron Relationship Manager further.
Following on from this, you can expect highly-requested updates with messaging capabilities, like the ability to view threaded messages for individual patrons in Patron Relationship Manager. You’ll also be able to easily view and filter by patron milestones like 3 month, 6 month and 12 month anniversaries, lifetime pledge amount milestones, upgrades and downgrades, and more. We’ll share updates here as soon as we have them.
As always, though we might not be able to respond to every individual case, your feedback is very welcome. For anything urgent, send us a note and we’ll help you as soon as we can.
