patreoncommunity.com intercepts my Cmd-F to pop up a custom ‘search in this thread’ dialog box. That’s not what I wanted when I typed Cmd-F. Can I disable this thing? I’m fine if you want to have a ‘search in thread’ feature as part of your forum software, but please don’t take away browser functionality.
It’s a “feature” of the forum software and I don’t think users can disable this. I get around this by first hitting CMD-L (to select the url bar) then CMD-F to trigger the browser’s search tool. This will get around the forum from intercepting your CMD-F search.
