Thank you!!!
No problem
And people wonder why people come here asking for help instead of the other suppor channels…
I hope your page gets fixed. Suspending pages out of the blue is one thing but not bringing them back up in a timely manner is even worse. If they don’t have the staff or system to handle these things quickly then perhaps they should’ve delayed implementing this rule of theres… Or given a general warning through e-mail to all adult creators to give them a chance… Or ask individuals to remove things before suspending immediately.
But no, I’m sure this system where people’s incomes disappear for a random amount of time whist they wait for any kind of response from Patreon at all is the best way to go about things.
Hey @kat_attack_photography, I’m so sorry to hear of your frustrations. Our support team are working double time and I’ve confirmed that someone will be taking a look to your account today. You should get a response very soon! Please let me know if you don’t hear back in the next few hours.
Thank you Mindy. My account is BACK! <3
I got suspended from Patreon 12 days ago because I did not meet community guidelines. (I had cartoon dicks in my header.) I’ve cleaned up my Patreon and e-mailed support twice, but still haven’t heard anything.
I’m getting stressed out because Patreon is the only place where my last 3 years worth of work exists, I have 2 art shows next week, and ALL my marketing goes to Patreon and pretty much nowhere else (Etsy). If I’m still suspended on Saturday when the first show is to happen, I won’t be able to give out any of the new business cards that I had made specially for these shows, that ONLY have my Patreon URL on them, or try to convert people into patrons, which was the whole point in signing up for these events. I make PDF colouring pages and have no real product to sell in the real world, my whole business strategy for right now was Patreon. I’m in tears just writing this because I’m agoraphobic, so doing these art shows is a very very big stressful deal for me to begin with, but I’m worried my Patreon will still be down, and I’ll have nothing to show people, and it is eating at me from the inside out. I realize most of this is my own fault and Patreon should not be my main business strategy, but I don’t know how to make a website or distribute my colouring pages any other way.
I e-mailed guidelines@patreon.com both times, a week apart, and the first time I e-mailed, I got a zendesk confirmation, but the 2nd time I e-mailed, I did not. I don’t know what else to do. I only got the URL for this forum today, so that’s why I’m posting here.
Hey @Sunny, thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry for the frustrations. I saw your FB thread and it looks from there that this has been taken care of now, but please let me know if that’s not the case.
hi @mindy, I’m back up! Thank you!
