Hi everyone! My name’s Hayley and I run The Character Consultancy.
I’m a trainee therapist and use the skills I learned in my formal training to work with people who create characters - people who are in the midst of writing stories, making comics, and anything else creative that involves writing.
I’ve been working on TCC for 18 months and am starting to get a little bit of traction. I’ve still to be able to pay all of my bills from my profits but I’m getting there. It’s been a fun ride so far!
I’m hoping to network here on the forums, make connections and see who I can collaborate with.

I’m Emily and I am happy to have a new place to connect with other creators on Patreon! I have found that a challenge before so this is a great idea. I am a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus in visual arts (painting, drawing, mixed media) and puppets. I want to start working more on animation and film/video again. I am currently working on creating puppets for a photography series and paintings. I am here to connect and get more community with you all, learn, get feedback, advice, and share when it helps others as well. I know we never get anywhere alone. I also do Ayurvedic Thai Yoga Massage part-time when I can see people in person. That’s currently not possible, with the Coronavirus so right now. I am devoted to creating and sharing my work to gain more visibility and patrons. It feels like I need to create and share my work and that’s the best way I can be of service right now.

Hi! My name is Izan -which is a spanish name that comes from the english name Ethan. I’m a musician, I play classical guitar and arrange music. Lately I play solo arrangements but I’ve been working on 4 guitar arrangements, too. I’m absolutely not known at all -barely 1300 subscribers on youtube, but doing fine on patreon with 54 patrons at this time. I love this platform, I love how easy is to offer rewards and get people so support you if they really like what you do. So, big thanks to the staff!

Hi! Love Patreon! It allows me to contribute art to charities or thank fans of my work - and still get paid - because my rewards are patrons being the only ones allowed to see and participate in the developmental process, and the public only seeing finished work.

I write and make tabletop games and RPGs and right now my Patreon page is my only source of regular income after I lost my job due to the COVID-19 pandemic so, hoping to grow my numbers there.

Hello Patreon I’m Gabrielle based in London and I never thought I’d enjoy Patreon as much as I am. I’m getting so much more out of it than the stable monthly income which is a godsend. I also just found this Patreon community and this is my first reply! I’m super excited to see what other creators are up to. I spend so much time just explaining what it’s like to create and craft that I don’t get to have the fun conversations like “how can I challenge myself?” or “what breakthroughs did I have this week?”
My girlfriend and I had two weekly boardgame groups. I’m currently reading a book on the math and science of game design and it’s fascinating. Wishing you well on growing your numbers. Thanks for sharing!
