Hi, I’m Jessie and I write romantic fiction (contemporary and romantic suspense) currently in the gay romance genre, with stories planned to crossover into lesbian romance, as well as heterosexual romance. As a self-published author, I enjoy the freedom to write what I love and control every aspect of the process, but paying for the right team of professionals to put the polish on my work (editor, cover artiest, formatter, and then marketing) takes deeper pockets than I have. The goal of my Patreon is to provide free books, exclusive additional content, exclusive swag, and even private meet & greets at signings in return from patron support so that I can cover the costs of publishing without overextending my credit or taking from my household funds. By joining this community, I hope to learn how best to use this platform not only to grow my patronage, but to network/support other Patreon members in the artistic endeavors.

Hello everyone!

I am Wade ‘Mulehorn117’ podcast host, writer, and owner of our website Mulehorn Gaming..
You can find our podcast on most podcast platforms but we also have a home for that here. We are creating podcasts and website content. My hope is to learn how we can continue to grow/break into new markets, and of course make some awesome relationships with the patreon community. I will take any pointers you have!

What is Mulehorn Gaming?
We are a media outlet operating in the Gaming community, a group of people that want to deliver news and opinions on all things Games and Media related to their listeners and visitors via their Podcast and extensive Website. All of the above provided with a wink, a lot of laughter and while drinking the occasional fine beers. Our slogan? When in doubt, blow it up!

Thanks again for the invite! Excited to get to know everyone here.

Hi all, I’m Nick, and I run a non-profit organisation and a global community of street performers. We’re putting together monthly albums of our favourite busker music around the world. We’ve been going to five years now, but we’ve just joined Patreon, and I’m finding the messaging very difficult to get right! I think we are one of the few “curators” (instead of “creators”) on Patreon. All advice welcome! patreon.com/busk and busk.co.

Hello! I’m John, an investigative journalist in San Francisco. I’m using Patreon as part of an experiment in community-funded local investigative reporting, with emphasis on use of public records and leaked documents. I’m just over a week into it, but fundraising is going well so far! allcity.news

Hi everyone,
Thx for the invite Ellie!

My name’s Markus and I’m creating a PC Game called Black Hollow. Joined Patreon to find some more gamers and throw some ideas around but traffic has been pretty low so far. Probably due to a non-existent social media presence ( i loathe twitter, facebook etc ).
Somehow i feel more at home in forums so maybe i’ll find some ideas on how to get more people interested here!

Hi, Dave. Started my thing in January this year and have one paying Patreon (not a parent, friend, partner, sibling) - that I’m very proud of. But boy, it would be great to have a second. x

Hi,

We are a group of about 25 devs and artists making a game. It’s a fairly ambitious first person shooter set in 1985 that asks: What if the Cold War had gone hot?

We are really happy with the response we have gotten on Patreon and we <3 the Discord rewards feature, it’s exactly what we need. It’s totally awesome.

We made an initial mistake of forgetting to set goals for our Patreons and just set whatever we sort of needed when doing the preview. Completely dropped the ball on that one, but we’ve managed to zoom past our first goal post in a couple of days still. We are working on budgeting for patron oriented goals and have a pretty long list of them now.

We are super happy to be here, there’s so much love in the air it’s dizzying!

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for allowing me into this community! I am very new to patreon and I am hoping to start building on my patrons. I am still learning the ropes, so any help would be fab.
I am qualified coach that helps people recover from trauma, abuse & dysfunctional relationships.
I create youtube videos and write a blog and am already helping a small number of people. I hope to be able to reach even more people and am currently doing research into creating an ebook to help people more specifically in certain areas.
Thanks so much!
