So excited for Hang Time this Friday (it’ll be my first one!) :grin: If I had a suggestion, I think this event could be promoted more! I’ve been a creator for a little while now and only heard of this today, and I’m sure there are other creators who are unaware of this event and would love to attend!

We were told in a May 26 email that we would get a mug for commenting here. I have written a separate comment from this and am wondering how we will gut the mug if you don’t have our mailing addresses. (Jane Kwett also said to ask my question here.) What needs to be done? (And please respond to the question rather than just liking it but not responding as you did with my last inquiry.) Thank you.

Hello! The new Sales Tax updates do not require you to use any software. Patreon is taking care of charging and paying sales tax on some patron pledges, where required by law, on your behalf. You don’t need to do anything at all, but you may want to take a look at our new advanced sales tax settings which could save your patrons some tax money. This is all totally separate from anything you may want to do for income tax reporting. Feel free to post any further questions relating to this to sales-tax :slight_smile:

Hi all! Hang time sounds awesome! I may not make this one, but now that I know about it, I can keep an eye out for the future ones. :relaxed:
As for a suggestion, since I am an artist who creates work to help people with mental health, anxiety and human related issues, I’d love to see a future broadcast that highlights any Patrons who do anything like that.

Seems interesting, haven’t really used patreon to its fullest potential yet, but i will when i can continue what i’m doing in an consistent manner.

It would be great to talk about ‘taking the leap’. Crossing over from Patreon (and other channels) being a side gig to being your main gig. I’m going to, but I’m scared and I have no idea what to do really.

I can’t make it to the hang out as I’ll be dining with my kid and bringing her to bed (I’m in Europe), but I always love to watch the replay! Whilst drinking tea from a good mug. :wink:
