I see from this thread that Patreon has been promising to implement a Facebook pixel on and off for the last two and a half years. It looks like you did implement something – there was an alpha release, then a beta release, then all of a sudden you’re not accepting creators into the beta program any more and you have no information about future plans.
What’s going on? This would be SUCH a valuable feature, and it sounds like you’ve already more or less built it. Why can’t we have it?
Please at least explain what the problem is.

+1 here! I have benefited so much prior to the pandemic by having the pixel on for Eventbrite. I have had to pivot due to the Pandemic, from events to video content and decided to use Patreon, but if it can’t integrate with FB, this might be a major drawback and I might be looking to build this offering out on my own website rather than leverage Patreon.

Thanks @Danya_Shults - can you share a little more information though? Are you able to provide some sort of timeframes? I can understand having to wait a month or so, but not a year, given that it seems this thread has been on and off for almost 2 years.

I’ve been patiently awaiting this as well. It would be a very good use of ad money if targeted at people that visited your Patreon page. I’m guessing it’s an API issue or something. Hoping they can iron it out for sure

Checking back to see if there are any updates. I have been monitoring my FB ads and while there is a lot of traffic coming in (tens of thousands) these haven’t really resulted in conversions. The only way to enable a conversions campaign is the ability to add a Pixel. To be honest, if it can’t be enabled sooner rather than later, I’ll have to look for other ways to monetize, as I’m just not able to get what I need from Patreon as it stands.

We understand this is a feature many creators are interested in, though after our initial beta test we have decided to pause this program until further notice. We currently do not have a timeline for when this program will open back up, but we will certainly let you know!
