Hi Creators!

I’m Annie, a Researcher at Patreon. In an effort to learn more about creators and their process, the research team is doing a new weekly series of creator chat sessions (taking place every Wednesday at 12pm Pacific Time [PDT] ) and we’d love to talk to you! If you’re interested in telling us about yourself and your work, giving us feedback about your experience on Patreon, and maybe showing us around your workspace, here are the details:

  • Our call will be 30 minutes , and will be conducted via web meeting (Zoom).
  • We’ll ask you to video conference with us (either by phone or computer), and the meeting will be recorded, but the recording won’t be shared outside of the Patreon team.
  • Within a week from the completion of our session, I’ll send you a $50 Amazon e-gift card as compensation for your time.

If you are interested, DM me with a few Wednesdays at 12pm that you might be available, and I will get you scheduled!

I’m interested! I’m available pretty much any Wednesday at 12pm as long as I have a heads up. Might need another week or two to stop being sick before I’m available though :wink:

Count me in! Any Wednesday in September is good for me, as long as I have a few days’ advance notice which one. Later in the afternoon is better for me too, but I can do noon if necessary.

I’m really interested in joining this, however the only issues I have are these:

Since all my stuff is mainly digital, is it okay if my workspace is more or less my laptop?

As well as I wouldn’t want to bug anyone else in the house, or the people in the interview because of our dog, would it be okay for me to sit somewhere else?

Lastly does Zoom offer any form of screenshare services to showcase the actual program I use?

My workspace/production facility is on a small sailboat currently located on the islands of Cape Verde Africa. My studio is what’s outside my sailboat. My cast are the amazing people I meet. The script writes itself. Are you interested?

It does! It’s quite useful but takes a bit of learning so we may not need to get into that much detail, but Zoom does have that functionality if we need it.
