I wanted to share a little life update with you all. I’ve made the difficult decision to accept a new position, which means that this is my last full week at Patreon and my last day is Friday, July 24th. Going forward, @reyna, @laurab, and @bkeller will continue to be here to help you out and grow this incredible community of creators.
I feel so lucky to honestly say that I’ve loved every day of the past two-and-a-bit years at Patreon, getting to spend time with you. It’s been a real pleasure to learn about your art, your creativity, and your passion for what you do. I’ve discovered so many new creators I love.
My next role is at Discord, where I’ll be running Community and expanding their programs. This is going to be an exciting new chapter in my career, and also means that I’m not going too far away if you use Discord frequently, we’ll likely see each other there! I really hope our paths cross again in the future
Thank you again, for not only being a part of the Patreon Community at large, but helping make sure our platform is the best it can be. I can not overstate how much we appreciate all the time, effort and care you put into this community. I’m so grateful for you, the Patreon team, and all the connections and experiences we’ve had together. Thank you for inspiring me; what you create truly makes the world a better place and I’ll always be a patron of as many of you as I can!
I’m sad to see you leave the Patreon team but I know you will do well wherever you go. You are a wonderfully warm person and Discord should feel blessed to have you! You’ve been amazing as the head of community here on Patreon and have made many of us feel heard. Your care an attention have kept us full of hope for the future of Patreon.
I hope they treat you well and that our paths cross again as well.

Discord is an excellent way to stay in contact with your Patrons. An authors group I’m part of makes extensive use of it and it’s seamlessly integrated into Patreon’s tier rewards. Having @mindy there can only improve things!!
What a pleasure it was to meet you at the gathering in NYC back when we could gather in person. We will miss you here! You’ve been so gracious and amazing in sometimes sticky situations. I’ll have to actually use my Discord account now that you’ll be over there! Best of the best over there!
