@Ivett_Maurer thank you so much for sharing! I’m no artist, so I’m not able to comment on technical skill. But I love the bright colors and hair styles
HI reyna ! Thank you so much for the and telling me how you think about my art!
You know, i think skill is not everything. Of course, i also need skills too, to make a good work, but everyone represents a different genre, so for me, it’s more important, who loves what he/she do. Well, i’m just a beginner, and I’ve never learned art in school or at courses, so i can only rely on, my lot of practice . But i’m glad, that you shared your thought with me and made this comment!
Thank you!
Although one skill may lag slightly behind the others, they generally all develop at the same rate. If you see one skill that is at a wildly different level then the others, then it’s a good bet you’re looking at the work of two different artists.
I can tell immediately that this work is traced. The line quality and color choices are extremely poor while the overall proportion and symmetry are good (although not quite pro-level). The shading on the eyes in particular stands out as a surface level copy of shading values with no understanding of the structure that creates those values.
It took me a few minutes to find where this was copied from: https://www.deviantart.com/vansiee/art/Nana-anime-692950122
It’s not even official art, it’s someone else’s fan art.
If you want to do this kind of thing for fun, that’s fine. But when you say “nana’s cover by me” or “what you think of my works”, what you’re doing is stealing.
