BUG: Pictures Appearing As Broken

Once a week, I post a work-in-progress, which features both mine, and my Patrons work from my Discord.
We all post our WIPs, and I compile them into a post to show the rest of my Patrons and followers of my feed. Everything works as it should on my end.

My Patrons on the other hand? Many of their photos are broken, and show nothing at all. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for this that I can tell. All files are .jpeg format, and are less than 3MB or so. It’s usually around 20 pictures or so, and like I said, it’s only Patrons that are experiencing broken links and photos. My end looks all fine, and works as intended.

Any idea what might be happening here? Am I attaching too many photos to one post?

Hey @Ghool, thanks for bringing this to my attention! My first thought that the 20 photos or so, all around 3MB, may make the post size too large.

This Sizing images for Patreon help article suggests exporting your images with “Save for web”. It also suggests posting photos as an attachment to your post to keep the quality.

Let me know if these tips don’t work!

Ah all right. Things need to be resized.
Isn’t this something that can be integrated into the post itself?
In many other place where I post photos, it will either do an auto resizing or ask what size I’d like the photos to be, usually with a couple of options.
Good to know at any rate.

I’m wondering why there’s even a size limit?

That’s a great suggestion! I’m not sure why our size limits are set to what they are, but I love the idea of resizing within the post editor. I’ll pass that along

Thanks for the feedback! Let me know if you run into any other issues.
