Hey creators,

Today is a big day! We’ve just unveiled the Patreon App Directory, a growing list of integrations that will allow you to run Patreon across the web.

A few exciting integrations we’re releasing today:

  • Wordpress - Run Patreon membership directly from your Wordpress site, making it incredibly easy for fans to become patrons without leaving your website.

  • Zapier - Create automated triggers that save you precious time, like adding new patrons to your email list as soon as they join your Patreon community.

  • Discourse - Give your patrons access to private forums within this robust community platform.

These are just a few of the many integrations that will become available to you over the coming weeks/months, as we open our API to tech-savvy creators and web developers. If you’re interested in building your own integrations with Patreon, visit our new Developer Portal, where you’ll find everything you need to get started.

This is huge! Anyone have any good examples of it working already in the wild?

Zapier - Create automated triggers that save you precious time, like adding new patrons to your email list as soon as they join your Patreon community.

This one, on the other hand, is so open-ended I’m having trouble getting my arms around it. Anyone poke at it yet?

Agreed. I would love to see some examples of how this looks. I struggle with envisioning something I’ve never worked with, but if I could see some uses I can brainstorm ways to make it work for me.
