Hi, I'm Rachel Swirsky! I write science fiction and fantasy short stories. The seventy or so that I've published are around here and there. You can find a lot of them online, or in my latest collection, How the World Became Quiet.

I've won the Nebula Award twice, and been nominated for the Hugo, and the World Fantasy Award, and a few others. I have a masters degree in fiction from the Iowa Writers Workshop.

I own five cats. Let's face it, my brain is probably just a mat of toxoplasma.
