First of all, notifications can be found in your top navigation on the right, under the bell icon.
As for the creator page, we have some updates in the queue that will continue to refine the creator page and give creators more control over the look of their page. Ultimately, we want creators to feel like they own their page, like it’s theirs. So thank you for the feedback! I’ll be posting on the forum in the weeks to come with some sneak peeks of some of the changes, so stay tuned!
Thanks, I spotted the notifications later, when a couple appeared. Couldn’t find them until then, I was clicking on everything I could find.
Yes, customisation is a real top option for me on my Patreon wishlist. Or at least a super clean minimalist layout, so that the content sings out. Already, with your revisions it has less to compete with in the interface, which is good, but fonts and font sizes still feel a bit off, perhaps a little big too. I’d love to see improvements in that or better still, the ability to edit it.
So far, I’m enjoying the improvements, but also noticing what’s still needed.
On a side note, the site is loading very slowly since the update. Not sure if this is yet another Patreon bug, or related to the update. I’d love to see that checked up on, as it’s the slowest site I run on my browser, which can’t be right?
@Ben If we notice a bug, that may or may not have anything to do with the redesign, what is the best way to report it? (Reply to this topic? Reply to another topic? Send an email?)
@dataschool if you reply to this topic, @mindy and/or I will make sure it gets reported. Alternatively, you can go to support.patreon.com and open a ticket if you want a response from support.
feels so fresh i am actually want to have more stuff to do to post in my page~
really wish the post have a redesign too, like list or grid view or that kind of stuff
One minor issue so far – when I click on Patrons on the left side bar, I can’t see Exit Surveys, unless I make the font size smaller (which is harder for me to read). Using the scroll bar just gets me to Promote and Income, but I can’t get to Exit Surveys. Thanks.
The new design looks pretty. I like it a lot. Thank you for your hard work!
A couple of things I noticed that could be improved:
I wish the text boxes for typing comment replies were much bigger. I can’t even see what I’m typing because the box is so small. When I type more text than fits in the box, the following lines are not visible unless I scroll. Please fix this.
Also I’m not sure that I like that hitting ENTER instantly posts replies to comments. )I don’t remember if that was a feature before.)
When editing comments, there is no SAVE button (only cancel button), so basically I can’t edit comments.
@Ben Regarding bugs, please see this post and the screenshot of the post below. The two comments I circled in red were written by my patron (Rich), and yet they are being attributed to me.
Hey @Maarika — thanks for taking the time to write in. Here are responses to what you raised:

I definitely agree that this is annoying – adding it to a list of future improvements to make.

This has always been the case, but I personally agree that comment fields that act that way are kinda stressful, noted.

When editing a comment, you save your edits by pressing enter (same as submitting a comment).
@haikujaguar thanks so much for this feedback, I already have a note to investigate this on future iterations. We were very creator-centric in this update, and admittedly could do more to support the creator who is also a patron and make sure that experience solid.
hey @dataschool – our team published an update that should fix this problem for you. Please let me know if you still experience issues with this page (and thanks again for taking the effort report this!)
I am still investigating the new update but I am not a fan of being auto-directed to my own editing page. I much preferred going to the feed of the creators I support, since this is content I want to see and I only need to edit my own page on occasion. I can’t think of any reason to be taken to my own page first when I can just as easily post a new update from the creator feed using the menu on the left.
Hi @HeatherHitchman — thanks so much for the feedback. We’ve been hearing this quite a bit and plan to address with some upcoming improvements to our navigation.
Hey @HeatherHitchman, my official response is we don’t have a firm date for this change rolling out at this point. My less official response is: probably in the next month or two… it will be included with a bunch of other tweaks and visual improvements to our navigation that we’ll be releasing all at once, so stay tuned
