Do you currently have goals? What motivated you to create them?

Yes, motivates my readers for what’s the future holds.

How hard was it to set up goals when you started your page? Was there anything that confused you or you wished was different?

Was pretty easy to setup

How do you currently use goals? Do you involve your patrons into the process at all?

I actually asked my discord group to vote on the goals they like and I would set them up. Kinda on demand.

How would you feel if goals was no longer a feature on Patreon? What, if anything, would you do differently?

No we need it it give us trust and credibility.

I wish for % based goals instead of showing numbers.

I wish for a better view system for goals on mobile

  • I currently have goals. I created them as extra bonuses for patrons to try to attract more pledgers.
  • I have made goals all throughout the changes to Patreon. Years ago to now and they have gotten easier with the redesigns, so thank you for that.
  • I use goals to upgrade/enhance current reward tiers to hopefully attract more patrons. I involve my patrons in almost everything i do concerning my work and patreon. With live voice chats to polls, etc. They help create what my patreon is.
  • I think it would be a negative to lose them. Having the option to use them or not, currently, is great, as everyone runs their projects differently and having that extra level of incentive and general goal management for the project visible is extremely helpful in my opinion.
