Hello! I’m Angela and I create fantasy comic art. I’ve been on Patreon for a little over a year now. I love it!
Thanks, Ellie! You’re doing good work here, really appreciate that. I’ll check the posts in detail, in some time.
Hello! I’m Adam Westbrook and I make video stories about all sort of things. My Patreon page is just over a year old and it’s been great to find and reach out to my biggest fans.
I’m looking forward to connecting with other creators and sharing tips and tricks!
Heyo Patreoners,
My name is Jon, and I run the the Patreon page for Bloody Good Horror – a podcast and website dedicated to, you guessed it, horror movies. We’ll be celebrating our 10-year anniversary of the podcast next year. We jumped into Patreon last summer, and it’s been a great year-plus. The support has allowed us to improve our production and deliver some new stuff to our fans and Patrons.
I hope to learn more about how you all are growing your communities, and delivering new and different things to Patrons.
Hi everyone, I’m Pawel and I run Opera Vivrà, an opera website. We have 60K FB fans and 6K Twitter followers. Excited to learn from others.
Happy to have you, Jon and congrats on 10 years! That’s so exciting.
Hey everyone,
I’m Jai, a musician and singer based in the Bay Area. My music is based on ancient Indian devotional chants from the Bhakti Yoga tradition, sung over a wide variety of world music styles, including Reggae, Rock, Samba, and BossaNova. I’ve been on Patreon since March. It’s pretty awesome but I still find myself struggling to explain it to my fans!!! Anyone else have that problem?
Anyway, glad to be on this Community page and looking forward to conversations to come!
Love and peace,
Jai
Ps. Here’s a link to my Patreon page:
Jai! Welcome!
Totally hear you on struggling to communicate Patreon to fans. Not sure if you’ve seen this video yet, but there are some really good tips in here that might help.
We also recently made a new explainer video, which is a great thing to send to ppl who are like “What is this?”
Hope that helps!
Hi Ellie,
Yes, I’ve seen those videos and they’re very helpful. I’m kind of percolating a new invitation video to send to me newsletters and Facebook peeps.
Thanks for your personal response!
Love and peace,
Jai

Hello Ellie and fellow Patreonators!
It’s hard to describe what I do in a succinct tagline…
My main “creation” is my blog, focused on transgender advocacy, but my work extends well beyond it. In the background I: write, research, create resources, do social media, present, consult, tons of email, and now a book. I get paid for almost none of it.
My Patreon launched about a year ago. At this point it needs some restructuring - both around messaging as well as rewards, but I’m having trouble figuring out how. Basically I don’t want to offer something that will be more of an investment than the reward itself, in time, effort, or cost. My audience is loyal, though not very engaged. I would love to provide some recognition, because they are truly my validation and motivation.
Anyway, that is more about myself than I care to write. Hopefully this community can help!

~Micah
Hello!
I’m Tanya, nice to meet everyone. Excited to be a part of this community! If you’ve ever seen I Need Diverse Games around, that was me! I’m doing this full time, talking about diversity in gaming, podcasting and going to a lot of conventions to talk about these topics.

Hi Neil! I’m Rachel Swirsky, and I’m a short story writer who has been privileged to be published in Clarkesworld. I’m on Patreon to help fund my writing career as my husband and I transition into a new city.
Hello, everybody!
My name is Arthur Breur, and I’m a “composer for hire” as well as a pianist (playing mostly my own works as a means of self-promotion). My composing style is very “traditional” and melodic, and I can create music that is very customized to the wishes or needs of a patron.
I also created and run a small web development company with 4 employees (besides myself) called FireSpike LLC.
I’m looking forward to learning how to leverage this platform as well as others to lean my life back so that music composition and performance are a more balanced part of my productivity! I like that Patreon, by default, will require that I be productive to keep my patrons involved, and look forward to sharing ideas about how to get the most benefit!
Hey Arthur, beautiful music and welcome to the community! I am decidedly not musical in any way, so I apologize if this comes across uninformed or rude, but is $15 enough to ask for a 1-2 minute unique tune? The Ragtime and Concert Band patronage appears to be for continuing patrons over the course of a year. Is the 1-2 minute tune for just a month’s patronage?
Hello creators! My name is Diogo Tomás, I’m a singer-songwriter from, and living in, Lisbon, Portugal (right across the Atlantic
). I’m very happy with this new space of ours, I do believe in Patreon and that together we are stronger. I share with you my page and look forward to get to know your inspiring projects. Good days to all of us! https://www.patreon.com/diogotomas
Benjamin, I just saw a glampse just now and I love it! Amazing work!
