Hi-- I’m a creative writer and podcaster, mostly on social justice issues with a bent toward the ecological. I live in a tiny house on wheels that I designed, on a restorative grazing cattle ranch in Tomales, California.
Hi everyone,
I’m Hayley, I am part of Amanda Palmer’s small team that helps her independently release her art and music. I’ve been working with her for nearly a decade now, and help her organize, maintain and take care of her Patreon community, of which she has over 11,000 patrons: http://patreon.com/amandapalmer
In the 3 years Amanda has been on Patreon, she has created and released over 60 different paid posts (which she calls Things), including music videos, songs, podcasts, performance art, webcasts, live albums, collaborated albums, animations, and so much more, which has meant that she’s been able to pay over 700 other artists, musicians, painters, animators, crew members and collaborators in the process of funding all of this new work.
You can see a list of all the Things she’s made on her website:

If you’re interested in checking out more about Amanda, she’s on the internet everywhere as @amandapalmer (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr ).
If you want to connect with me, and see some of my concert photography (that’s my art!) and my behind the scenes photos of Amanda, I’m on Twitter or Instagram as @HayleyFiasco.
I’m excited to be part of this Patreon community and look forward connecting with you all at future IRL events!

Hello! I’m Emily, and my solo musical project is called Survival Guide. I’ve been using Patreon since March and LOVE IT so much!! And I’m so excited to be getting into the creator community aspect! Now, to work smarter and increase my patronage…
Thanks for everything, Patreon!
Hi everybody,
My name is David and I’ve been on Patreon for about 3 years now. I mainly make Youtube videos involving the ocarina - the ceramic flute made popular from the Legend of Zelda! I love educating others about how to play them with tutorials, as well as making music videos of covers and original music, all using the ocarina (plus other instruments I play).
Super happy to join this community and discuss building community around our art!
Greetings Everyone!
My name is Jonathon Stalls and I’ve been creating Intrinsic Paths alongside Patreon for about 10 months or so. My creative project is a mix of video reflections, poetry, book/writing, movement building, and walking invitation focused on themes of inner freedom, human dignity, vulnerability, spirit, nature connection, and more. I spent 8.5 months walking across the USA in 2010, founded a connection-focused walking cooperative called Walk2Connect in 2010, and am now spending more and more time developing Intrinsic Paths.
I would love to make a connection with many of you and if you’re curious about what I’m creating, please consider visiting and coming alongside. Here’s the link: Intrinsic Paths Patreon Page.
I’m eager to learn a TON from each of you and your inspiring projects.
In peace,
Jonathon

95 minutes of Patreons to read through…wow
I will have to do this in small batches! But it’s an honor to be invited here.
My name is Tamara; I write and I do research and I’m interested in far too many topics for my own good, but the two topics I spent the most of my time with are the ones I have Patreon projects for:
-
Egypt (ancient or modern, but focusing mostly on pharaonic Egypt)
http://www.patreon.com/tsiuda -
Haiti and Haitian Vodou, under my initiatory name (why yes, I am really a Vodou priestess)

Looking forward to learning about lots of new Patreons and how to use the system in better ways!

Hi I’m Rachel from Rachel Watches Star Trek (podcast). I’ve never been part of a forum before so I’ve no idea what’s going on but looking forward to getting to know some of you! Rachel https://www.patreon.com/rachelwatchesstartrek
Hello all,
I’m Tallulah, an Australian illustrator. I’ve been quietly working on Patreon for about three years now, but only just joined the forums - I find it too easy to sink excessive time into social media instead of getting on with the process of creating. But I am also aware of how isolated this has been making me recently.
Being a part of the Special Offer Workshop Patreon is currently running has given me the spur to join up here and learn from my peers.
I am a bit of a distracted dabbler at the moment, working in scientific, fantasy and many little disjointed projects. Botanical and educational illustration has been my bread and butter work for the last few years.
I currently use Patreon primarily as as a platform to share my studio process with my patrons, and as a way to focus my attention on completing my non client creative projects one at a time. I’m not fantastic at the latter, but having an audience I am working for, rather than just myself, helps me remember to stay on task better. I am working to make my tier rewards feed into my ongoing projects better, helping me resist going off on creative side quests (and when I do I have company for the journey at least).
One of my projects at the moment, in addition to putting together a kids book about the famous lyricist, Sappho, is levelling up the rustier areas of my drawing and painting skills.

Hello lovely creators!
My name is Shawnee Kilgore and I’m a full time singer-songwriter. In December 2013 I signed up for a weekly songwriting challenge that would last for one year and have been writing a song a week ever since. I decided to start posting them to Patreon over three years ago and its been such an inspiring and rewarding experience for me. The team is amazing and my patrons are amazing and it’s kept me writing and connecting with my fans in a really unique and intimate way.
I look forward to getting to know the community better so we can all help each other grow and prosper and take patronage of the arts to the next level. Everyone keep up the good work! Thanks for being here, and for being you.
Hi Shawnee, I just had a look at your Patreon page: coincidentally, I was one of the student animators that did a snippet of the animated music video for Daniel John’s “Going on Sixteen” a few years ago
Hi Tallulah!
Ahhhhh that’s awesome! I’ll have to look that up, and check out your page too. Ohhh Daniel Johns… the people that shape us:)
I appreciate you reaching out, so glad to connect!
Best,
Shawnee
Hi everyone!
I’m Dorothy. I work with Joshua Roman, a cellist and composer who pushes the boundaries of classical music. I’m new to Patreon, although he has been running his Patreon for a few months now. I’m looking forward to learning more about how to reach new friends and supporters through this platform. I’m focusing on developing our patron base and making sure our current patrons are feeling the love in my first few weeks on the site.
I’m excited to be here and join the Patreon community!

Hey everyone, Im Brianna! I do photography, but I focus on using DIY tricks and free open source software for editing. I also do a live editing session on Twitch once a week for people that want to see the process.
Excited to be here!
Hi everyone! Game Dave here! Glad to be a part of the community. Find me across the web…
Love your music @srvvlgd! Just checked it out after seeing this. Beautiful work and best of luck building your Patreon base ~ ; )
LOVE your voice and spirit @Shawnee. Found you on the feed here. Best of luck to all you bring into the world!
Great to see your post ~ I also have a tiny home (in Colorado) and am passionate about a lot of the same things. Would you mind sharing your Patreon page? Sending peace your way ~
Love your mission and movement. One of my benchmarks inside of my Patreon account is “radical pedestrianism”. If you see any creative coming together on the benefits of walking/going by foot/wheelchair etc keep me posted. I also founded the Walk2Connect Cooperative. You can follow our tag #lifeat3mph. GREAT work. Inspiring to see the sucess of your page!
Wow! Amazing Patreon page @angelafineart. Thanks for all your hard work and for providing such a hopeful, beautiful example of how to make this truly support full-time creating. ; )
Love your page and the personal/human intro video @christa! We have roughly the same # of patrons and resources coming in. Congrats! ; ) Would love to stay connected! One quick tip (as someone who has never met or heard of you) is to have an easy way to access a favorite song or music video in your text… or perhaps embed an actual piece of your music? I searched your work online and whew ~ LOVE your music. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful… onwards…
