Hi my friends! My name is Cory McAbee. I’m best known as the writer, director, songwriter and composer for the internationally acclaimed feature films, The American Astronaut (2001), Stingray Sam (2009), Crazy and Thief (2012). I am now making a new film called Deep Astronomy. It is being created as a global collaborative art project. Most of the work I am doing at this moment goes toward this film. Hi everyone! My name is MC Lars and I’ve been making “nerdcore rap” since the late 90s. I rap about Edgar Allan Poe, Shakespeare and other literary topics, as well as pop culture and my own life. I went to Stanford with Jack Conte and graduated a year before him. I used to play shows with him in the dorms, so it’s awesome to be part of his platform.
I’m from California but am based in New York the next year, developing a live off-Broadway “lit-hop” show.
I love Patreon because it helps me stay in touch with my fans and be creative when I’m not on tour.

In 2012 I began a global arts collaborative called Captain Ahab’s Motorcycle Club with the goal of creating a globally generated feature. At this point the feature is my main focus. My name is Chris Huelsbeck and I’m a composer here (since 2015), creating royalty-free music. Anyone who supports my channel gets access to all the pieces I composed here so far to use royalty-free in whatever project they like (Youtube videos or in games for example), even commercial ones. The only requirements are that the pieces must be integrated into your own projects (the music can’t be resold just by itself) and credit is given (and a link to my Patreon page would be appreciated, but not mandatory). Oh ha, I meant to introduce myself here. Guess I forgot. xD
I’m an independent programmer / web developer. I work on projects here and there in my spare time, and take commissions when I can. My latest project has been watermarking software for Patreon creators to fight against leaks. @Sify commissioned this project late last year and it just kept growing until I found my way here.
I’m here to interact with other creators and get a good idea of what problems people are having.
